BioCommons is closed for renovations until June 2026

The first floor of Steenbock Library (including the BioCommons) is closed for renovation and will reopen by Fall of 2026.Two large active learning classrooms will be added, along with expanded and updated study spaces.

What Alternative Space Options Does Steenbock Have?

Steenbock Conference Rooms 240 & 340

• Reserve a conference room at Steenbock Library: conference rooms – 240 (seats 28) and 340 (seats 20) for small events  . Availability is limited and large events cannot be accommodated. Please visit the Spaces to Reserve page for more information or contact Steenbock Library with questions about reserving spaces. 
• Please note: There may be construction noise in the building from 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday, which may be disruptive to events.
