5 Ways to Start Your Semester Strong with the Libraries
1: Need help or an answer? We got your back. Our “Ask a Librarian” service connects you in real-time with a librarian to help get you off on the right foot with that first – and next – assignment. Speaking of likely assignments and readings, request your copy of this year’s Go Big Read book, “James” by Percival Everett.
2: Did you know students can borrow a range of helpful items whenever you may need them? Check out equipment and devices at library computer labs. College Library’s Tool Library offers a variety of useful gadgets, including drills, bike pumps, and even a label maker, while Steenbock Library has science equipment like molecular model sets, scientific calculators, and butterfly nets!
3: Need to print, scan, or photocopy? We’ve got you covered. Find out which location works best for you.

4: Know before you go – check our hours, services, and locations, as some have shifted over the summer.
5: Along with finding a study space, you can also find the Writing Center at some library locations. At the Writing Center, undergraduate and graduate students can get help at any stage of the writing process.
