The Kohler Art Library is happy to work with faculty and instructors to develop instruction sessions tailored to individual courses and the needs of students.
- Sessions can overview relevant library resources, both print and electronic.
- Sessions can suggest search strategies for the specific course topic.
- Sessions devoted to examination of the Artists’ Book Collection and other special collections are available.
- Talk to us about other desired session formats.
Sessions can be held at the Kohler Art Library, including the Reference Room for small groups; in the Memorial Library teaching rooms; or in your classroom.
We can also insert Library Course Pages into your students’ MyUW portals, along with lists of Library Reserves for your course. Library Course Pages provide links to databases or other online information relevant to the course topic.
Tours and Orientations:
The Kohler Art Library is happy to provide tours and orientations to the library for individuals or groups unfamiliar with our space and services. Hands-on orientations to the Artists’ Book Collection and other special collections are also available. We encourage faculty, students, and staff as well as community users throughout the state and beyond to visit the library. Please contact the library in advance to schedule.
Email the librarians to discuss your group’s needs.
