Record Management Program Overview
The University Records Management Program is responsible for providing consulation and training to university departments and units in the management of the records they create through the information lifecycle. The Generally Accepted Record Keeping Priniciples provide a framework for good records management practice campus-wide and compliance with State and Federal requirements.
Record Management Training Resources for University Offices
Records Management training materials and guidance on major topics of interest relating to the managing of University records. This would include but is not limited to Records Management File Plans, Imaging University Records, E-mail, Job Aids and training videos.
University Record Retention Schedules and Disposition
This section contains the Official University Record Retention Schedules which were approved by the Public Records Board for use campus wide and guidance on disposal of university records.
University Records Management Advisory Group (URMAG)
The URMAG is a broadly representative body tasked by the Provost’s Office to provide direction and support for the University Records Management program.
