Summer Course Content, Support for Instructors

May 7, 2020

UW-Madison Libraries are working to connect students (wherever they may be) with their course content. In order to ensure that course materials are available for the start of summer term, we invite instructors to submit their purchase requests for e-books by May 15, 2020, using the Course Content Support form.

On Thursday, May 14 (3:00-4:00 PM), library staff will host a virtual information session: Connecting Students with Course Materials: Getting Help from UW Libraries. During this session, staff will address the process for finding or creating digital materials, finding alternate content with an emphasis on Open Educational Resources, and understanding Fair Use and other copyright considerations. Follow this link to register (session will be recorded).

Our staff with the Science & Engineering Libraries are available to answer questions or to schedule time to consult with students and instructors. Please email or chat/text with us using our Ask-a-Librarian service.
