Ask a Librarian to Expand Hours Beginning Sunday, March 22

During the closure of library spaces, the Ask a Librarian general chat and text service will be increasing its hours and staffing levels. Beginning Sunday, March 22nd, the general chat and text service will be available the following hours: 

• Sunday – Thursday 9 am – 11 pm
• Friday – Saturday 9 am – 6 pm
• Patrons can text a librarian at 608-729-7886

As always, the staff providing this service will be performing robust referral to our colleagues in other libraries and units, making sure that our patrons are connected with the information and staff that they need. 

We will be working to keep ourselves informed of changes to services and resources so that our patrons have the most accurate, up-to-date information, using tools such as library.wisc.edu/covid19/. 

No matter the circumstances…and these are not ones we ever imagined…the Libraries are STILL ready to help you study strong.
