IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Beginning in August 2018 the University Archives will be implementing a new system to help patrons request materials from the Archives as well as the Department of Special Collections, Mills Music Library, and the Wisconsin Historical Society Archives. All patrons will need to register for a free Archives and Special Collections Account that will allow you, among other things, to request materials in advance of a visit, request materials while in the reading room, and request duplication services. All will be asked to show an ID to complete registration. The process for requesting, retrieving, and duplicating materials will be streamlined, but delays may occur early on due to staff training. Archives staff and students will be available to assist patrons with this new online system and we appreciate your patience in advance!
