Weird Science Sticker Contest!

Create weird art to celebrate weird science! You are invited to use your imagination and design skills to make a sticker that will be featured at the 2026 Weird Science Fair at Steenbock Library. We will print stickers from the selected design to be given away at the fair and will acknowledge you as the artist.
Eligibility: All UW-Madison students
Deadline: March 11, 2026
Criteria: The design must include the phrases “Weird Science” and “Steenbock Library”, and be suitable for a sticker that is 3 inches x 3 inches. The sticker can be cut to custom shapes. We are looking for stickers that are creative and fun, and convey excitement about science.
Submission rules:
- Submissions must be your own original work.
- You may use any physical drawing or painting media (i.e., colored pencil, markers, oil pastels, acrylic paint, etc.) or submit an original digital work (including photography).
- You may submit more than one design.
- Copyrighted work, stock images, and clip art are not allowed. No elements protected by copyright are allowed, including “fair use” of copyrighted material.
- You may not submit designs created using generative AI in any way or in any amount. This includes fully AI-generated designs, AI-assisted designs, and those that contain AI-generated content.
Artwork Specifications
- In JPG, PNG, or PDF format
- At least 300 DPI
- Less than 50 MB
