Announcing OER Pilot 1nitiative

We are excited to announce an Open Educational Resources (OER) pilot program for UW-Madison, this Fall 2020! 

Using OER in your teaching helps students by increasing textbook affordability and access. It allows you to customize content. There are many excellent existing OER resources available that you can freely use (and modify if needed).

To participate, instructors will be asked to incorporate at least one OER into their course for the Fall 2020 semester, and engage in some supported assessment. OER materials can include open textbooks, open courses, audio lectures, podcasts, images, videos, infographics, online lab simulations, quizzes/tests and more.
