Library by Appointment Allows for Limited On-Site Access!

June 30, 2020

**UPDATED August 3, 2020

The Libraries are expanding the locations that will allow for onsite access by appointment only as well as locations that will allow for materials to be requested through our Pickup by Appointment service. See below for updated locations.**

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries are excited to continue supporting campus’ effort to reboot research, and to expand our Library by Appointment service. This will provide the chance to review some of our physical materials.

Access to Libraries for research is limited to UW-Madison faculty, staff, and graduate students. A limited number of patrons are allowed per day to reduce congestion and facilitate physical distancing.

**Before scheduling an appointment, faculty and PIs must request return to on-campus research by completing the Phase 2 Research Reboot request form available here. Faculty and PIs must also complete the request form on behalf of their graduate student advisees who need access to library spaces for research, as noted in the Phase 2 Research Reboot request form FAQs. Once an appointment has been scheduled, return to the request form and change the status of the Research Reboot Proposal (question 6) to “approved”.“**
