The DoIT @ 30 Oral History Project was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the merger that created DoIT, UW-Madison’s Division of Information Technology.
Read about the history of DoIT and how Administrative Data Processing (ADP), the Madison Academic Computing Center (MACC), and Telecommunications were merged to create DoIT in 1994.
The following interviews were conducted with former DoIT staff. Narrators describe how they ended up in their position, their day-to-day work, projects that they were involved in, and any changes that occurred during their time with DoIT.
