Honoring Our Veterans

As we honor Veterans Week at UW-Madison, we want to say thank you to those who have served – including several who work in the Libraries. 

We have multiple veterans working across our campus libraries, and we encourage you to take a moment to acknowledge their service and sacrifice. 

The Libraries have been supporters of our current and future veterans throughout the years. Just a few months ago, Memorial Library was the site of a rappelling drill for new UW-Madison Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) recruits. We look forward to working with them in the future. (Interesting fact: the UW Army ROTC program can be traced back to 1858!)
