It’s time for the 5th annual UW-Madison Libraries Book Madness bracket tournament. 64 books need our community to decide who will be crowned champion this year.
Participants can fill out and submit brackets ahead of time, seeing who is the best at predicting who will win the tournament. The Library Marketing Committee will tabulate scores and the student, campus, or community participant with the bracket that most closely predicts the outcomes of the book match-ups will win a prize.
On March 16th, we’ll open up voting – timing each voting round with the various rounds of the NCAA tourney. Anyone can then vote on the various book pairings to try to help advance their favorite books to the next round.
The official bracket, full rules, and other information cab be found on the UW Book Madness website.
The deadline for participants to submit brackets is 11:59 p.m. on March 14th. Printed brackets should be filled out and submitted to a participating library. Participants can instead submit a completed bracket via email or snail mail. One submission per person.
Voting will begin March 16th. Full rules are available at the site.
