Exhibit Highlights Life at the University of Wisconsin During WWI

The University of Wisconsin Archives is pleased to announce its exhibit, “University of Wisconsin During WWI,” on display through November 28 at the Wisconsin Historical Society.

The exhibit showcases photos and ephemera documenting campus life during World War I, including UW faculty contributions to the war effort, the Student Army Training Corps (SATC), student life on campus during the war years, and other topics.

The exhibit is located on the first floor of the Wisconsin Historical Society. Undergraduate history major and Archives and Special Collections student staff Sam Hurwitz curated the exhibit, with guidance from University Archivist David Null and Image & Media Archivist Vicki Tobias.
