Volunteering for the Friends Book Sale is yet another way to support the UW-Madison Libraries. In addition to faculty, library staff, and students, people from throughout the community lend a hand to make the sales run smoothly. Some volunteers help unpack books and set up for the event, others assist during the sale as stockers and cashiers, and the kindest of all help with the clean up at the end.
Would you like to make an even greater impact? Members of the community serve on the Friends Events, Book Sale, and Communication committees as space allows. Help us plan virtual and in-person discussions and events that spotlight our Libraries, coordinate our semi-annual book sales, or write stories about our people, collections, and activities for greater visibility.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Friends office at 608-265-2505 or E-mail the Friends.
