Video Game Collection

College Library recently updated some of its video game holdings, transferring several Wii games and all of the Xbox 360 games to a UW System school with an archival game collection. As a result, the current game collection in Open Book (Room 1250) has shifted slightly and there is now more space for Switch games, Xbox Series X titles, and the library’s collection of Xbox One games.

In addition to more space for games, College Library has eliminated automatic renewals for video games. All games now have a loan period of fourteen days, which should ensure more titles available to check out and quicker turnover. This change also means that video games cannot be requested, held, or sent to other campus libraries for pick-up. You’ll have to come to College Library to check out both the collection and individual titles!

The most recent addition to our holdings is Crimson Desert by Pearl Abyss. Versions for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will arrive on campus soon. If you have a suggestion for a game we should add to the collection, please use our purchase request form.
