Wireless Printing

Using PaperCut, you can set up your personal device to print from any release station in a campus library or InfoLab. PaperCut supports Windows devices, Mac laptops, iOS, and Android.

  • While on campus, set up your device to print to campus print queues (see below for instructions).
  • When ready to print, follow your standard steps for printing and select the appropriate print queue. (You must be on campus to print wirelessly.)
  • Go to the appropriate print release station, login with your NetID, and release your print job.

Install the PaperCut printing software

  • Download and run the Mobility Print installer for Windows.
    (You must be on a campus Wi-Fi network – Eduroam or UWNet – to download and install the print installer.)
  • When it is time to print, print like you normally do, but select your desired PaperCut printer queue.
  • Download and run the Mobility Print installer for Mac.
    (You must be on a campus Wi-Fi network – Eduroam or UWNet – to download and install the print installer.)
  • When it is time to print, print like you normally do, but select your desired PaperCut printer queue.
  • If you see this pop-up, enter your NetID and password. (If you see “Hold for authentication” and the system doesn’t progress, you likely did not enter your NetID and password correctly. Click for detailed Hold For Authentication error troubleshooting.)
  • Tap this link to download your Mobility Print profile. (Do this using Safari on your device.)

  • Open Settings on your device and go to General: VPN & Device Management.
  • Click on Install to install the profile.

To Print from iOS

  • Click the Share button.
  • Scroll down and select Print.
  • Select your printer queue.
  • Enter your NetID and password and tap OK.
  • Install or update the Mobility Print app on your Android device, and then follow the instructions.
    (You must be on a campus Wi-Fi network – Eduroam or UWNet – to download and install the print installer.)
  • If you see a screen like this, choose Mobility Print to get the latest printers.
  • Unfortunately, other operating systems (such as ChromeOS or Linux) are not supported by this printing system at this time.
