Library Master Plan Process Update

January 20, 2017

Help us shape the future of the UW-Madison Libraries! Our master planning efforts are in full swing, and we need your help as we welcome our consulting groups, brightspot strategy and Engberg Anderson Architects, back to campus for another round of engagement opportunities. January 24th – January 26th.

During this visit, there will be an opportunity for students, library staff, and campus academic staff to participate in various engagement activities. On Wednesday January 25, consultants will also hold one-on-one, “drop-in” style interviews by setting up stations at different locations around the UW campus talk to the campus community about their library experiences, and suggestions for its future planning efforts.

In addition to the on site visits, faculty will be requested to participate in a survey detailing their use, experiences, and suggestions for the libraries to better meet research and service needs.

The consultants have four more visits scheduled through the end of May, and there will be many opportunities for campus engagement throughout the process. Your participation and input throughout this process is valued and will continue to be important.

Any questions can be directed to Carrie Kruse (carrie.kruse@wisc.edu).
