Trent Miller describes features of the new Children’s area

Yesterday, Libraries staff had the opportunity to tour Madison Public Library’s new Central Library. The tour was coordinated by Tracy Honn of Silver Buckle Press and was conducted by Trent Miller, the new Community Programs Coordinator for MPL.

Trent was the mastermind behind the BOOKLESS fundraiser in January 2012 that transformed the old Central Library into a massive installation art exhibit and raised nearly $30,000.00 in a one-day event, generating lots of engagement and excitement for the new space when it opened.

Many UW libraries staff attended the tour, but if you didn’t have the chance, check out the gallery below for a virtual tour before Central officially opens!
