The Libraries participate in UW Day at the State Capitol

UW Libraries were well represented at the State Capitol this week during UW Day on Thursday April 4th.  UW-Madison, UW Extension and UW Colleges partnered to present educational displays and interactive exhibits in the capitol rotunda. More than 30 scientific exploration stations offered a fun, hands-on way to see UW research in action.  Expert librarians were on hand to answer questions and, of course, share Bucky READ posters with attendees.

“The Bucky posters were very popular,” says Steenbock Librarian Karen Dunn, who estimates that she gave away 200 posters.  Two more UW Day events are scheduled in area towns in April and May:
