Bucky READS his way around

October 19, 2012

Since we announced the new Bucky READ posters at the beginning of the fall, we’ve sent out thousands of posters to schools and public libraries all over Wisconsin. Some have made their way a little farther – through a partnership with UW-Madison’s Visitor & Information Programs (UW VIP) we were able to get more copies sent to classrooms around the country. We’ve pulled together a little gallery of Bucky READing his way around libraries and classrooms, from this year and a couple from 2011.

A special thank you to all of the library staff who take stacks of the Bucky posters to places near (the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery) and far (all the way to Marinette, WI) to promote libraries and literacy to communities around the state. The posters are terrific, but it’s the friendly and knowledgeable staff that really seal the deal.
