Mills Music Library has arranged for a free trial of the Berliner Philharmoniker’s Digital Concert Hall, a collection of streaming video offering live streams of concerts, archived performances, documentaries, and interviews with musicians. The sound quality is similar to that of a CD, and the picture quality similar to HD television. Digital Concert Hall content streams to your computer, tablet, smartphone, or smartTV.

This trial is available to UW-Madison students, faculty, and staff. To take advantage of the trial, visit Digital Concert Hall from an on-campus IP address. You should then see the following image:

You must register with your email address, choose a password for login, and accept the terms of use. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address to complete your user account registration. After registering, you can login from off campus for a period of four weeks before having to login from an on-campus IP address again to reset your access.

The trial lasts until January 31, 2016, so please visit Digital Concert Hall soon and often. Enjoy the artistic work of the Berliner Philharmoniker and its musical partners – from principal conductor Sir Simon Rattle to famous guest conductors and soloists, and submit comments about your experience.
