Instruction Services

The Library & Information Literacy Instruction Program at College Library provides the following services to support undergraduate library research skills and orientation:

  • course-related instruction
  • information literacy module of the Communication Requirement (Course A)
  • drop-in workshops
  • outreach to residence halls
  • library tours

Drop-in workshops provide instruction about the basic resources and services through the libraries (UW-Madison Libraries: What You Really Need to Know), citation managers and more. The library offers tours at the beginning of each semester in conjunction with campus orientation events.

College Library provides additional instruction or tours upon request.
