College Library welcomes Kari Borgmeyer to her new position. Her tenure as the Administrative Assistant and Facility Coordinator (Building Manager) at College Library began on January 2, 2019.
Kari receive her B.A. degree from UW-Madison in Journalism and Communication Arts. Prior to accepting the position at College Library, she served as a sales associate at Banana Republic (where she gained experience in inventory management and vendor relations). She also worked in advertising for both Wisconsin Trails Magazine and at a local firm.
Kari is looking forward to supporting the mission of College Library; ensuring that the library’s facilities and administration run smoothly, causing no disruptions on the path to creating and fostering lifelong learners. In her free time, Kari enjoys international travel – Italy and Austria are particular favorites – as well as biking, hiking, and exploring national parks. Other hobbies, including baking and reading, are on hold while her children participate in hip-hop dance classes and other after-school pursuits. As she notes, “Most of my time is spent in the car, either ferrying kids to activities or pets to the vet.”
The main office for College Library has moved to Room 1191A and Kari can be found there weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please join us in extending a heartfelt welcome!
