Although final exams can be stressful, College Library is encouraging everyone to step back and reflect on our many accomplishments this year. During our finals events, we’ll focus on a different area of achievement each day. Get involved by using the hashtags #studystrong and #UWproud to tell us why you’re proud to be associated with the University of Wisconsin.

We and our campus partners are pleased to offer the following schedule of events:

Thursday, May 7 · Proud of the Arts – Find your inner Picasso & decorate the library with coloring sheets of symbols of success

Friday, May 8 · Proud of Innovation – and the fuel that makes it happen. Free Coffee, Tea & Hot Chocolate from Open Book Café, 7pm – 2am

Saturday, May 9 · Proud of Community – Select a postcard of UW-Madison and reach out to family, friends, etc. The libraries will pay the postage!

Sunday, May 10 · Proud of Athletics – Feel the thrill of victory with table-top games & puzzles

Monday, May 11 · Proud of Commitment to Health – Enjoy a variety of “Healthy Snacks” provided by University Health Services

Tuesday, May 12 · Proud of Service – Be on the receiving end of unconditional canine affection with Dogs on Call from 4-6pm

Wednesday, May 13 · Proud of Engagement – Show support for your favorite cause and make a button at the library

Thursday, May 14 · Proud of UW Grads/Alumni – Decorate your mortar board (or whatever’s on hand) with puffy paints and rhinestones or give yourself a gold star for a job well done!

In addition to coloring pages, for the entire week students will have the opportunity to write down what they’re most proud on a Post-It Note and add it to a display in 1st Floor Center.
