New Laptop Bar

College Library is pleased to unveil its new laptop bar located in the Open Book Collection in Room 1250. Each seat at this counter has been fitted with its own outlet and two USB charging ports.  According to Jay Ray, Operations Manager for the CMC, this newly remodeled space “allows users to plug-in their laptop and work while other devices are simultaneously charging.” Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of these über-outlets to charge their phones, e-readers or gaming devices.

Another benefit to the laptop bar is the fact that single library users can power their laptops in this communal work-space without taking up an entire table. And with the Open Book Café situated conveniently nearby, its a great opportunity to recharge your batteries with coffee and a scone while your devices do the same.
