Student Services at College Library

September 13, 2013

As always, College Library is keen to partner with various student services on campus in order to meet the needs of our core audience of undergraduates. Many students have already taken advantage of Cross-College Advising Services (CCAS), which meets in Room 1209A of the Student Services Area every Monday through Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Joining them next week will be the Writing Center which starts its fall hours on Sunday, September 15. The instructors meet with students in Room 1209C on Sunday through Thursday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m. GUTS tutors will begin offering assistance to students in a variety of subjects beginning Monday, September 23.  Their normal hours begin that week with help available on Mondays through Thursdays from 5 to 11 p.m. and on Sundays from 3 to 11 p.m. The Let’s Talk counseling service provided by UHS has switched times and locations this semester and will be offering drop-in hours on Mondays from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Room 2191A. Joining the ranks are two new advising services – Undergraduate Advising-Psychology and Undergraduate Advising-Spanish & Portuguese which are both meeting in Room 1209C on Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. And finally, SAFEwalk will again be available to escort library patrons home beginning on Tuesday, October 1, from 8 p.m. to 12:45 a.m  For more information, please see our Web page.
