A new display in College Library wants to know your secrets. As part of the Distinguished Lecture Series, Frank Warren, founder of the collective art project PostSecret, will be on campus on Wed., March 20. The library, in conjunction with the student group MUSE (Madison Undergraduate Society for English), will be collecting submissions of UW secrets until March 17, to share with Frank and possibly display as part of an exhibition on campus. For more information on the lecture, see the DLS website.
So, if you’ve been looking to reveal something in a more tangible way than tweeting to UWConfessions, here’s your chance to create your own postcard (or modify one that you purchased). Visitors to the 2nd floor of the library will find blank postcards in the display along with crayons and markers to decorate them. Also on display, while supplies last, are copies of Frank’s books for inspiration and a few other titles on the theme of the secret and hidden.
