Weekend Finals Event

And the surprise was… free printing! From about 4:30pm to 7pm on Saturday, there was no charge for printing in the Computer & Media Center. The lucky students who were in the right place at the right time got this special giveaway from College Library as part of the Finals Week Study Strong events.

Other weekend activities: Sunday evening students were able to take a break to watch some football or catch the score in 1st floor center as we played the Packers game and Vikings game on the display monitor. Quite a crowd gathered for the final exciting, although ultimately disappointing, minutes of the Packer game.

At 7pm, a flash mob happened, with a few hundred students suddenly appearing on 1st floor, doing a quick Jump Around, and quickly dispersing, which offered a fun way to reduce the stress of finals. Congratulations to the students who organized this.

And Bucky Badger made a visit to students in the library to boost morale a provide a few picture-taking opportunities. Everyone loves a visit from Bucky!
