Universities of Wisconsin faculty and staff can use their current, valid ID from their home institution to borrow materials and have the following library privileges:

  • On-site library access
  • Borrow UW-Madison materials – see loan periods below
  • Renew materials by contacting Circulation Support
  • Access to databases, full-text, and other digital resources from a campus library

The following services are NOT available:

  • Request and delivery services like Interlibrary Loan or Remote Delivery
  • The ability to have items from your institution delivered to UW-Madison Library hold shelves
  • Access to UW-Madison licensed online resources from off campus
  • Equipment checkout including but not limited to laptops and cameras

Universities of Wisconsin faculty and staff have visitor-level access to computer technology and printing.
