Support the Art Library

From its founding by the Kohler family, the library has benefited in substantial ways from the generous support of donors. Previous donations have secured limited edition artists’ books, rare and out-of-print materials, expensive items such as illuminated manuscript facsimiles, and digital resources essential for a research collection. Gifts may be made through the UW Foundation.

A special opportunity to support the library’s artists’ book collection exists in the Leonora G. Bernstein Artists’ Book Endowment Fund, which supports the acquisition of noteworthy artists’ books and related programming like the annual Bernstein Book Arts Lecture. If you are interested in supporting this valuable work contributions can be made to the Leonora G. Bernstein Artists’ Book Endowment via the UW Foundation.
