Gallery Talk for Iceland Exhibit, Oct. 30, 3 p.m.

October 25, 2017

We hope you will join us on Monday, October 30, at 3 PM in Special Collections for an informal gallery talk about our exhibit “Iceland.” On hand to talk about items on display will be Peter Gorman and Todd Michelson-Ambelang, guest exhibit co-curators (and both expert in matters Icelandic). Peter Gorman, head of the UW Digital Collections Center, played a lead role in such pioneering projects as the Icelandic Online Dictionary; Todd Michelson-Ambelang is subject librarian in Memorial Library for, among other fields, Scandinavian humanities, and teaches in the Nordic program on campus.

Gallery talk: Monday, October 30, 3 p.m., Department of Special Collections, 976 Memorial Library, 728 State Street
