Open Scholarship & Learning

Faculty, staff, and students at UW-Madison actively participate in an ecosystem of creating and using intellectual and creative outputs including data, research publications, literary and other artistic works, and educational materials.

The libraries are here to support those interested in making those works open and to encourage an open scholarly ecosystem.

We will strive to meet the needs of current and future scholars, advance the public good and the progress of scholarship, and live up to the promise of the Wisconsin Idea.
