ODNI Public Access Essentials

Source:  Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) Public Access Plan 

Impacts:  Peer-reviewed publications derived from ODNI grants resulting from a research proposal submitted on or after January 1, 2017.

Note: 2017 awardees should confirm requirement in their award terms.

Timeline: Papers submitted to the ODNI PubDefense Repository through IARPA-Funded-Publications@iarpa.gov within 12 months of publication are considered compliant. Some papers may be submitted to other data repositories such as the Inter-Consortia for Political and Social Research (see award terms for details.).

Who Submits:  Authors or associated PI’s  

What to Submit:  Peer-reviewed manuscripts or juried papers accepted for publication

Format:  Wide range of formats acceptable

Notes:

• The subject of the submission e-mail should be the title of the manuscript.
• In the body of the e-mail, please include the following template populated with the requested information:
  • Title of publication (journal article or conference paper)
  • Authors and their affiliation
  • For journal article, provide journal title, volume, issue, page numbers, and publication date (as available).
  • For conference paper, provide conference location, dates (mm/dd/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy), and proceedings title and page numbers (as available).
  • Digital object identifier, if available
  • IARPA program
  • Contract or grant number
