Open access publishing agreement with ACS

The UW-Madison Libraries are pleased to announce a new agreement with the American Chemical Society (ACS) that enables unlimited open access publishing for UW–Madison authors. Under this agreement, corresponding authors affiliated with UW–Madison can publish open access in most ACS journals at no additional cost.

More information about the agreement is available on this ACS Publications Agreement page. Eligible articles will be automatically identified through the ACS manuscript submission system. This agreement was negotiated in collaboration with the Council of UW Libraries (CUWL).
