Parallel Press, an imprint of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries, published print and digital publications featuring new works of scholars, researchers, and poets. Parallel Press also makes these important and out-of-print scholarly research available for study in digital formats. These publications were the result of collaborations with the UW campus community and represent the Libraries’ commitment to scholarly communication as a contribution to the Wisconsin Idea and in support of the outreach mission of the university.

As of January 1, 2026, Parallel Press no longer offers publications for sale. Most items continue to be available here online.
