Why some information is not displayed

Some information in the library catalog, such as item availability and location, is hidden until a brief human verification step is completed.

Why this happens

Automated bots can place a heavy load on our system, which can prevent some information from loading. The verification step helps confirm you are a real user and keeps the site running smoothly for everyone.

How to see all information

You can access full item details by clicking “Show all information”. If a “Show all information” button is not shown you’re seeing all information on the page.

In most cases, this happens instantly, and the page will reload with all missing information. Occasionally, you may see a verification box that takes a few seconds to process. In some cases you may need to check a box to complete this step.

Once you complete this step, you should not need to verify again on the same browser for about a year. If you clear your browser cache or use a different browser or device, you may be asked to complete the verification again.
