The Journalism Reading Room has a small circulating collection of books about journalism and mass communication.
To find books available in the JRR:
The JRR also keeps a collection of journals. For a list of all of the journals the JRR holds see: https://www.library.wisc.edu/journalism/collections/journals-at-jrr/. Please note that some journals are by donation only. To find the coverage dates of a particular journal, please search for the title in the Library Catalog.
A small collection of local newspapers is also available for in-house use in the JRR, including The Badger Herald and The Daily Cardinal. Other newspapers can be accessed online through the UW-Madison Libraries catalog.
The JRR holds a collection of audio/visual equipment that students in certain Journalism classes may borrow. Podcast equipment, desktop computers, a scanner, and a printer are also available to use.
