On October 29, 2015, The Women’s and Gender Studies program at The University of Texas, Arlington will host a one-day symposium on Women’s and Gender Studies in North Texas. This event, Minding the Field: Exploring and Expanding Women’s and Gender Studies in North Texas, will bring together scholars, students, staff, and community advocates in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area to network, collaborate, and critically explore the state of the field in our region.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. AnaLouise Keating, Professor of Women’s Studies at Texas Woman’s University
Closing Plenary Lecture: Dr. Catherine Clinton, Denman Endowed Professor in American History at The University of Texas, San Antonio.
