Data storytelling, which communicates insights through visualizations and compelling narratives, is growing in demand as a futureproof skill not easily replaced by AI. Join the Digital Scholarship Hub for an introductory workshop exploring the demand, practice, and artistry of data storytelling and data physicalization. Led by Andrew Hahn, Associate Director for Data & Storytelling at the UW-Madison Division of Enrollment Management, this event will delve into the history and practice of representing quantitative information with texture and physical media, finding compelling data stories in complex datasets, and making your own data artifact. No experience necessary.
