Accessing the Library

Entrances

• The Business Library is located in Grainger Hall in the Learning Commons. All Grainger Hall main entrances have power operated doors, with a gentle slope or ramp leading to the entrance.
• To access the Business Library, we recommend entering Grainger Hall via the North entrance on University Avenue (street level entrance), or via the entrance at the corner of University Ave and North Park St. (ramp leads to doors).
• Once inside Grainger Hall, you can enter the Learning Commons via a power operated door for the Huber Lab and Finance and Analytics Lab (1210A-P), then take the elevator inside the lab up to the 2nd floor.
• Alternatively, you can take any Grainger Hall elevator up to the second floor. While the doors to the Library on the 2nd floor are not power operated, they are open whenever the Business Library is open.

Elevators are located throughout Grainger Hall. Look for signs to find them.

Parking & Transportation

• Some paid parking may be available in the parking ramp under Grainger Hall, which has 8 WI DOT accessible parking stalls. The entrance is located on Brooks Street between University Avenue and West Johnson Street. The nearest public parking lot is at 400 N. Frances Street, two blocks east of Grainger Hall between University Avenue and State Street.

Accessible Furniture

Most chairs at computer stations in the Business Library are height-adjustable, and do not have arms.

Reservable Study Rooms and Spaces

The Business Library has many reservable study spaces. Click here to make a reservation.

Quiet Spaces

• The third floor is designated as a silent study area.
• There are also individual study rooms that you may reserve. Click here to make a reservation.

Restrooms

There are two single occupancy, wheelchair accessible restrooms on the first floor of the Learning Commons (rooms 1210J and 1210K), and just outside the Learning Commons (room 1226).

Lactation and Baby Changing Space

There is a single occupancy, wheelchair accessible restroom that has a baby changing space just outside the Learning Commons on the first floor (room 1226).
