History of the AMP Library

The AMP Library opened in 4220 Chamberlin Hall on January 16th, 2020. The initial collections were taken from the Woodman Astronomical Library previously housed in Sterling Hall, the S.C. Kleene Mathematics Library previously housed in Van Vleck Hall, and the Physics Library which was already located in Chamberlin Hall.

While the collections fall primarily in the realm of Astronomy, Mathematics, & Physics, the Library’s spaces and services are available to all users, and we encourage nearby departments to make use of our convenient location.
