UW-Madison Libraries' Comm-B Canvas Commons module updates include new online activities, new videos, updated content, and a more streamlined page design within Canvas.
During the summer of 2021, Jules Arensdorf, Nina Clements, Tom Durkin, and Carly Sentieri reviewed and made significant updates to the UW-Madison Libraries' Comm-B Canvas Commons modules. These modules focus on conducting research within disciplines, and are useful both within and beyond Comm-B courses. The module updates include new online activities, new videos, updated content, and a more streamlined page design within Canvas. They also feature improved transparency for both instructors and students with regard to learning outcomes and time required, as well as a built-in opportunity for the library instructor to introduce themselves on a welcome page.
The updated modules are available in Canvas Commons. If you first
