UW BIPOC Student Voices Reader

The UW BIPOC Student Voices Reader is an open anthology of Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color (BIPOC) student written essays with a focus on their experiences as students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and how these experiences are informed by their marginalized identities.

This open reader will be utilized in courses that address diversity, equity, and inclusion at the university or in Wisconsin at large such as The Wisconsin Experience Seminar, the Our Wisconsin inclusion education program, professional development workshops for faculty and staff, plus additional opportunities for learning. The reader is an affordable instructional resource which can provide instructors who are teaching with it, opportunities to explore new pedagogical approaches.

Funding for this work was provided by the Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement.
