The dashboard helps to strengthen the online student experience by providing a centralized path to appropriate library services in the Canvas environment for all courses across campus. Canvas is the campus learning management system.
Services in scope include:
- Course related content: course guides, course reading lists, librarian role
- Library website: Connecting students to the library website with information on remote access
- Help: Ask a Librarian, tutorials, Research Guides
The dashboard is developed and hosted by the Libraries. It will be aware of course context and can potentially be aware of learner attributes that can be used to personalize the organization and presentation of services. This project is a strategic goal from the Teaching & Learning 2019-2021 E-Learning Plan
