Campus Science & Engineering Libraries are pleased to debut the first of its Think, Make, Investigate carts and kits, a curated selection of materials and equipment to enable you to think creatively, prototype, and explore new skills for teaching and learning.
The first of these carts and kits to make its way for play in the library is the “Start Cart“. The “Start Cart” features papers, stencils, stamps and stickers, measuring and cutting equipment, glue and miscellaneous consumables—coffee filters, cardboard tubes, Popsicle sticks, and more. Work here (the cart is currently on display across from our entrance) or wheel it to another space within our building to try it out (no need to check out anything from the desk—unless you would like to incorporate a button-maker!)
What will you create? Connect with us on social media or drop a note in our comment boxes to let us know how you are using these items or to share with us any suggestions for what additional equipment and materials we might add.
The “Start Cart” is just the beginning! Library staff will roll out additional carts and equipment throughout the 2018-2019 academic year.
