Land is Life, Tales from Planet Earth (Nov 3-5)

October 18th, 2017

Tales from Planet Earth is a film festival featuring films from around the world that have been curated to engage audiences in thoughtful discussion about global, environmental and societal issues. The films selected for 2017 will address “land”–its value(s) ecologically, culturally, spiritually, politically–and the use of film media to capture and to examine those values. The 2017 list of speakers, who will introduce several of the films and facilitate discussion at the various venues, can be reviewed here.

The festival is a public outreach event from the Center for Culture, History, and Environment (CHE) and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.

All festival events are free and open to the public as space/seating accommodates.
