Science Expeditions, 2017

March 30, 2017

Madison is a city rich with opportunities for exploring the sciences. Come, see how our university faculty, research staff and students share their work with our larger community during three days of exploration, March 31 – April 2, 2017.

All UW-Madison Science Expeditions events are free and open to the public. Begin your expedition with exploration stations then venture to nearby “spectaculars” and open house events. A free trolley shuttle is available to take guests to satellite locations.

View the Science Expeditions timetable for the day and find directions on how to get to the various destinations.  Consult the guide for additional descriptions of each venue.

There will be two venues of exploration stations. Visit the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery on Saturday (10:00 AM-2:00 PM) and the Health Sciences Learning Center on Sunday (10:00 AM-2:00 PM).

The School of Veterinary Medicine returns with its open house event this year on Sunday (April 2), from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
