While ordinarily we might say that books and water do not mix, water, as theme, does lend itself to artistic expression. With that in mind, the Kohler Art and Wisconsin Water Libraries have teamed to curate an exhibit, drawn from the Artists’ Book Collection, which speaks to water—its dwellers, geographies, forms and functions.
The Artists’ Book Collection is comprised of unusual, one-of-a-kind and small-press books and book-like compositions that serve to demonstrate a variety of paper-making, printing and creative writing techniques. The Kohler Art Library has long collected these artists’ books as a resource for teaching and learning.
As ‘time and tide wait for no man’ be sure to visit the display at the Kohler Art Library between, now, and its closing date, October 30, 2016.
