Tales from Planet Earth (Nov 6-8)

October 27th, 2015

Tales from Planet Earth is a film festival featuring environmental films from around the world. From the fanciful to the profound, the films selected for 2015 will engage audiences in thoughtful discussion of environmental issues, belief, and the use of film media to capture and to examine those issues.

The festival is a public outreach event from the Center for Culture, History, and Environment (CHE) and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.

The opening night roundtable on November 6 (Union South Marquee) will feature Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Jr., Katharine Hayhoe, Godfrey Reggio, and Mike Wiggins, Jr. in conversation to theme about faith, the environment, and social justice.

All festival events are free and open to the public as space/seating accommodates.
